[Kim + Mike’s Sweet Summer Wedding Beachwood, NJ]

I first met Kim and Mike way back in March when we got together to discuss their upcoming wedding. And I can’t believe that their big day has come and gone already! Kim and Mike, along with their families, got married on a private ceremony on a boat! How cool is that?! The next day, they gathered together with even more friends and family to celebrate!

The reception was held at the Beachwood Community Center and we had a beautiful view of the river. We did have to fight off some rain, but mostly the weather was perfect and we had the best backdrop for photos. And rain on your wedding day is good luck right?! 🙂

Kim and Mike’s parents both made truly beautiful toasts and it was so great to see these two wonderful families coming together. There were first dances, of course, that were so sweet and plenty of clinking glasses to get Kim and Mike to kiss!

Everyone made their way to the dance floor and the dancing probably could have gone on all night! Kim and Mike both looked incredible and so happy together the whole day! Congratulations to the newlyweds! 🙂

[Nick + Nicole Philadelphia, PA]

A few weeks ago I took my first ever real trip to Philly (minus going to the bus station and an Enrique Iglesias concert) to photograph Nick and Nicole’s engagement session! And it. was. PERFECT!

Nick has been my friend since we were 2 years old when his family moved onto my street, two doors down from me. We instantly became best friends and our friendship has made it through the last 24 years! When Nick and Nicole got engaged, I was so so happy that he had found the love of his life, and when I met Nicole, I could see why she was the one!

Fast forward to the engagement session when I really got to spend some time with the love birds and truly see how happy they were! It was so sweet!

They had outfits picked out and locations around the city that they wanted to take pictures at and they looked incredible! We did have some wind and rain showers to get through, and after hiding out from the rain for a little while, it cleared up and we got to take more adorable photos!

It was so much fun getting to explore Philly with Nick and Nicole and I am so glad that I got to capture their love!

Congratulations on your engagement! 🙂

It’s always special when families get together for family photos, but it’s even more special when it’s for grandpa’s 75th birthday! They had a beautiful day for a family celebration and for all generations to be together for photos!

Everyone in the family was perfectly color coordinated and we had so much fun taking photos of each family, cousins, siblings, the kids with their grandparents, you name it, we covered it!

We had so many groupings of people that we wanted to take pictures of, but everyone hung in there and they looked gorgeous! I think it’s safe to say that grandpa’s birthday celebration got off to a great start with a beautiful family!

[Family Photos Seaside Park, NJ]

Beach sessions are in full swing and I am in love! This past weekend I got to photograph one of my favorite families! Not only are these guys great clients, but they are also great friends and I love photographing them.

The weather was a little questionable during the day of our session but we totally lucked out. The sun came out and was setting perfectly for our entire session! Mom, Dad and their three musketeers were dressed and coordinated amazingly; they literally were straight out of a J Crew summer catalog! So good!

I had so much fun during this session because even though we wanted the kids to sit and pose for photos, they were equally as cute when they were running around and playing and it was so cute to watch! We did get them to stay in one spot a few times! 🙂

Every session with this awesome family seems a little wild, but we always manage to have fun and capture the kids at their best!

[Kim + Mike Berkeley, NJ]

It’s finally summer! Which means it’s finally time for all the beach and park sessions! This past week I had a super sweet session with Kim and Mike at the Berkeley Island County Park.

Their wedding is coming up in just a few weeks so we decided to get together for a practice round before the big day! It was great to work with Kim and Mike and to get to know them more and of course be outside and enjoy the beautiful park.

I can’t wait for round 2 when their big day is finally here!

[Geralyn’s Pretty in Pink Baby Shower Pt. Pleasant, NJ]

This past weekend I got to help celebrate one of my favorite people! It was Geralyn’s baby shower and it was beautiful!

I was lucky enough to photograph her incredible wedding in November, and now there’s a sweet baby girl on the way (that I can’t wait to meet and take pictures of!)

Geralyn’s shower was at the Lobster Shanty in Point Pleasant and it was decorated in everything pink! It was so pretty!

There were fun games lead by Geralyn’s adorable nieces, delicious food and lots of new little clothes for Baby Girl Burley! And the future daddy to be made an appearance in a perfectly pink polo!

I had so much fun celebrating Geralyn and I cannot wait to meet her little princess!

[Gabriella’s 3rd Birthday Toms River, NJ]

Happy Third Birthday to my little peanut! I started watching Gabriella when she was just 3 months old and last week I got to help celebrate her 3rd birthday! How did that happen so fast?!

I was home from work last week and Gabriella and I were reunited for a play date! It was the BEST and just like old times. We were able to fit in her 3rd birthday session and we had so much fun!

Of course mom had packed the sweetest outfits, tutus and tiaras obviously, so we had a fashion show/birthday photo session! Gabriella loved running around outside and being silly and she kept me laughing the whole time.

Happy Birthday, Peanut!

[Gianna’s First Holy Communion Toms River, NJ]

Congratulations to this sweet angel, Gianna for making her First Holy Communion a few weeks ago! A few days before the big day, we went out to Huddy Park to have our session, and even though it was chilly (our luck, of course!) Gianna smiled and posed perfectly! Mom followed behind with her sweater so that in between photos she could bundle up for a few seconds!

Gianna has two sisters, and she’s right in the middle, so she had so much fun during our session because it was her time to shine! And she absolutely did just that!

Mom brought along her Rosary and her First Holy Communion Journal and Gianna was a pro with her props. She also had the cutest poses, especially when she put her hand on her hip!

It was so much fun, as it always is, taking photos with this angel! God Bless Gianna!

[Baby’s First Christmas Edison, NJ]

I got to photograph two Christmas sessions last week that were the baby’s first Christmas and it was so exciting! For this session, I went up to Edison for Luke’s first Christmas photos! His adorable mom had the house decorated, had the best Christmas props and of course the sweetest outfits for little Luke!

We started our session with Luke in his Christmas sleigh! It took a few tries to get him sitting up right, but any way he was sitting in that sleigh, it was going to be adorable. I must have been boring him or tiring him out because after the sleigh, he went right to sleep, and it was honestly the cutest thing ever! He slept so contently as I positioned him on his blanket and took hats on and off his head and when he woke up, he was happy as ever!

We finished our session with Luke, aka the baby reindeer, and if you thought the session couldn’t have gotten cuter, you would be wrong! Basically, no matter what we had Luke doing during this session, it was adorable!

[Family Christmas Photos Toms River, NJ]

It’s always exciting to take Christmas photos but it’s especially exciting when it’s the baby’s first Christmas! Although this little Angel was a bit skeptical of having her photo taken, she was still absolutely adorable!

Whether she was snuggling with mom and dad or asleep on the couch, she looked beautiful! She even let mom and dad change her outfit during our session, because double the Christmas dresses, double the cuteness!

After this session, one thing was clear…all this cutie wants for Christmas is snuggle time!
