[Allison’s Magical Harry Potter Bridal Shower, Point Pleasant]

If you’re a Harry Potter fan like me, you would have loved this amazing bridal shower! Before I even got into the house, there were signs and HP themed favors on the front porch and I was so excited to see more!

Allison’s bridesmaids threw such a beautiful shower and all the games and decorations were perfect! In every room of the house, and the backyard, Harry Potter was everywhere! From the photos hanging on the walls, to the MimOsa bar, everything was totally magical!

I think my favorite part had to be the cake with the golden snitch decorations! Such a creative idea! We had the perfect weather and it was a lot of fun to see Allison with all of her friends and family!

[Welcome Baby Michael Toms River, NJ]

I love newborn sessions! Getting to spend the day with a sweet little baby and a beautiful, happy family is seriously the best job in the world! I had the pleasure of photographing this awesome family when their first angel was born so getting to photograph the second baby was so special!

Big sister was ready to help the minute I got there! She started taking out the blankets and props so that we would be ready for our session! We started off with some family photos and it was so sweet watching Kaylee be a big sister!

After a few more photos with mom and dad, it was baby Michael’s time to shine on his own! And he totally nailed it! He had a lot of outfit changes and he looked cuter and cuter in each one! Check out a side by side of brother and sister in the same basket below!

[Ava’s Communion Toms River, NJ]

This was such a fun session for sweet little Ava. A few years ago, I had done a similar session for her big brother’s communion but this time it was Ava’s turn!

She had the most beautiful Communion dress and she really looked like a little angel. We started our session outside of the church and we had a perfect backdrop with the way the sun was setting!

Next, we went into the church, which was already closed for the night, but we were able to have someone open it for us! We had the whole place to ourselves. After doing some photos in the pews and by the alter, Ava picked her favorite stained-glass window to pose in front of.

We finished our session with a few more photos outside including Ava spinning around in circles and keeping her balance! It was awesome!

[Family Session Seaside Park, NJ]

I love when families are vacationing at the beach in the summer and reach out to me to take family photos! It’s so much fun to be able to capture these special memories on their vacation!

We had the most perfect night for this session at Seaside Park. The weather was perfect and the setting sun made for a beautiful sky!

I had a moment of panic however when my camera decided it wasn’t going to focus! We were about halfway into the session and I had to shoot the rest with manual focus. I’m not a big fan of focusing manually but once I was “forced” to shoot that way, it wasn’t so bad!

Not only was this session beautiful, but it was a big challenge for me that I was able to overcome, which was pretty cool!

[Family Session Spring Lake, NJ]

I’ve worked with this awesome family before, so it was so great to be able to do a session with their extended family! One of our first sessions together was at this same spot and it was fun to get to do another session here!

We had the perfect sunny day so naturally there was a lot of activity, but I always love seeing other photographers out with their clients!

We had three generations of family together, so we took time to make sure we got all the different groups that we wanted! We finished the session with a change of clothes from the youngest grandchild and did a mini session of just her…it was adorable!

[Elizabeth’s Bridal Shower Middletown, NJ]

I love when I get to photograph baby showers or bridal showers in someone’s home! It’s so fun to see how the family and friends decorated everything and how their home was transformed!

Elizabeth’s shower was at her childhood home and her mom had the best decorations! My two favorite however had to be the life size cut out of Elizabeth as a child and the huge, inflatable flamingo in the pool that was wearing Elizabeth’s mom’s veil from her wedding!

It was a gorgeous, sunny day and most of the festivities took place outside by the pool! Before the games started however, there was a sweet surprise for all the guests in the front yard. The amazing ice cream truck, Lexylicious was there to provide the best desserts for everyone!

This was such a sweet celebration for Elizabeth; surrounded by her friends and family!

[Pat + Lindsay Double Trouble State Park, NJ]

I was so excited to photograph this adorable couple’s engagement session! I have known Pat for years and when he first introduced Lindsay I knew it was meant to be! They are such a sweet couple and it has been so special to see their relationship grow!

We ventured out to one of my all time favorite places, Double Trouble State Park on a beautiful night! It was so great catching up with them and getting to take their photos, especially because they were cute and giggling most of the time 🙂

I can’t wait to celebrate this awesome couple in a few months at their wedding!

[Marina + Todd Asbury Park, NJ]

What’s better than an engagement session at the beach?! When that beach is Asbury Park! Not only does Asbury have a gorgeous beach, but it has incredible architecture and art! It was so fun photographing Marina and Todd’s engagement photos on this perfect summer night!

We started off by some beautiful paintings and of course the old carousel building…one of my favorite spots! We ventured out onto the beach and the couple had a glimpse into their future wedding that will be on the beach in Mexico!

After a long walk on the boardwalk, we found a few more gorgeous paintings to pose in front of! It was the perfect night for engagement photos of this perfect couple!

[Theresa Hope’s 1st Birthday Toms River, NJ]

It really is crazy how fast time goes! I remember photographing Baby Theresa when she was a week old! Flash forward to her first birthday and she is just as adorable as she was the day I first met her!

Not only did I have the opportunity to photograph her first birthday session and cake smash, but I also got to photograph her 1st birthday party with all of her friends and family! I’m so lucky to have clients that have turned into family where I can capture these special moments but also help to celebrate!

The theme for Theresa’s birthday…Sunflowers! Mom had the best props and clothes for our backyard photo session and Theresa was all smiles! Even though there was an amazing cake, the sweetest part of the session had to be when we took photos in Theresa’s garden that her dad created just for her! It was perfect!

Theresa’s first birthday party took place at Grandma and Grandpa’s house and it was beautiful! It was the perfect, sunny day to celebrate a perfect, sunny little girl! Everyone helped to decorate the house, inside and out and there were so many fun games and crafts for all the kids to enjoy!

Happy Birthday Theresa!

[JJ and Jenna’s “I Do BBQ” Howell, NJ]

I love engagement parties! I think it’s such a good idea to celebrate the engagement before all the major wedding planning starts! JJ and Jenna had one of the coolest engagement parties…an I Do BBQ! Such a fun theme!

From cornhole to a customized bar, this awesome barbeque was perfect to celebrate the beautiful couple with all of their friends and family! But the kids might argue that the best part was the amazing candy bar, complete with personalized JJ and Jenna M&M’s!

The weather was perfect, the music was great and everyone was so happy to be together to celebrate this amazing couple!
