[Welcome Baby Jordan Spring Lake, NJ]

This is the second newborn session I’ve done where the family was either renovating their house or had just moved into a new house which meant I had a big, empty room with tons of natural light! That was the case for this perfect session! The living room was empty, had beautiful floors and paint and so much gorgeous light from the windows! It was the perfect place to capture Baby Jordan and all of his cuteness! We started with some special outfits and blankets before getting swaddled and cozied up! Then Jordan’s big brothers and sisters joined in and that’s when the silliness started! These kiddos were so fun and giggled probably the whole time we took pictures, which honestly was the best! Finally Baby Jordan got some snuggle time with mama before we were finished! This session was so sweet and so much fun! Welcome to the world sweet boy!

[Family Session Spring Lake, NJ]

This was my second session with this awesome group just a few weeks after Baby Jordan made his entrance into the world! We walked up to the beach for family photos but it was so windy that the park was the better option. Thank goodness Spring Lake is awesome and has the best places for taking photos. The kids gathered with mom and dad for some photos before running around and climbing trees! It was so fun to watch them play together and explore the park. Can’t wait for the next session with this fun crew!

[Family Session Working Dog Winery]

Is there a better way to spend a Saturday morning than photographing an awesome family at their beautiful winery? Nope! This was the first session I had ever done at a winery and it was so cool! The family was perfectly coordinated and everyone had so much fun being together and taking photos! We explored the vineyards and found the prettiest places to take photos! This family was lots of fun and the kids, and dog, were so adorable. Hopefully this isn’t the last time I take photos at a winery!

[Emily’s Bridal Shower Spring Lake, NJ]

I have always seen the Essex and Sussex hotel in Spring Lake but I’ve never been inside it, that is until this beautiful bridal shower! And it was awesome! Such a perfect place by the beach to celebrate the most beautiful bride. Emily’s shower started outside on a terrace overlooking the ocean. We did some portraits with friends and family while everyone gathered in honor of the bride to be! Then we moved inside to keep the party going and it was equally as lovely! Emily opened gifts, the bridal party lead some really fun games and it was a really sweet afternoon! The best part was when the bride wanted to do a mini photo session on the balcony during sunset! And let me tell you, it was incredible! Emily was so fun and we had the best time along with her Maid of Honor and future husband taking photos on the balcony!

Welcome Baby Stella!

I love a newborn session and this one was so sweet! I’ve known this mama since we were kids and getting to photograph her sweet little girl was so special! For some reason my newborn sessions almost always start with a wiggly babe that doesn’t want to sleep…even though they’ve been sleeping all day every day until it’s time for photos! So we got this darling girl ready for photos with her mom and dad first! It’s always so exciting to see first time parents with their babies and I love getting to capture those moments. Baby Stella settled down perfectly when she was with mom and dad and she snoozed for the rest of our session! With every new outfit we put her in and every new pose, she was an absolute angel and was just so adorable! This session was so much fun and so darn cute!

[Family Session, Long Beach Island]

For this awesome session, I traveled down to LBI and it was so much fun! I love being in a beach town in the heart of summer to see everyone on vacation and having fun! It’s even better when families get their photos taken on vacation to truly capture the memories of their trip!

This was an awesome crew and it was so special to be able to work with them. Of course the three little ones stole the show and even though they were timid in the beginning, they were having a blast by the end! My favorite part was when we went down to the water and the kids were so patient not to run right into the water and play. Instead they held hands and chased the seagulls and it made for some perfect photos!

[Danielle + Bryan Oakland, NJ]

I have known this beautiful bride since we were kids! Our moms have been friends since grade school and we grew up meeting at the beach in the summertime! We always had the best time together hanging out on the beach or playing in the arcades. When Danielle asked me to photograph her wedding, I was so excited! I knew it was going to be so fun to celebrate with our families!

I met Bryan a few summers ago when our families met up at the beach. It was so sweet to see how special Danielle and Bryan’s relationship was! Their wedding took place at Portobello in Oakland, New Jersey and it was beautiful! Not only did we get to take photos at the banquet hall, but we had access to the beautiful restaurant side as well. It felt like we were in Italy with the incredible, rustic backdrop! We had to dodge a little rain while taking photos but luckily it mostly stayed away.

After we took our photos, it was time for the ceremony! It was a beautiful ceremony while Danielle and Bryan were surrounded by their family and friends. One of my favorite parts of the day was during cocktail hour when our mom’s got to see each other along with their other friends from school. It was so nice to catch up with everyone and be together to celebrate Danielle and Bryan. The reception was awesome; filled with great speeches and lots of dancing! Congratulations Danielle and Bryan!

[Jessie + Pat Seaside Park, NJ]

This engagement session might have been one of my favorites ever! I met Jessie and Pat at Seaside Park just in time for sunset and it was gorgeous! These two were absolute perfection in front on the camera! They had the best chemistry and posed so naturally.

We walked all around the beach, stopping to find the best places for photos but my favorite part was towards the end of the session when I told them just to walk down the beach and pretend I wasn’t there. It was easy for me to capture the love between them and it made for such a great session!

[Jenna’s Bridal Shower Howell, NJ]

I’ve worked with this awesome family before so I was so excited to photograph another special milestone for them! Every party that I’ve captured for them before has been gorgeous and this bridal shower was no different. From the pretty in pink décor to the build your own bouquet station, this shower was amazing!

We had the most perfect, sunny day and it wasn’t too hot, so it was a great day to be photographing outside! The lovely bride to be along with her friends and family enjoyed a super cute photo backdrop with the best props, a cocktail truck with the bride to be’s signature drinks and a piñata because, why not?!

The guests played games, enjoyed the sunny weather and even got to make their own floral bouquet! Such a fun idea! At the end of this beautiful shower, the most delicious food truck, Lexilicious, came and everyone got to enjoy some homemade ice cream sandwiches! It was a perfect day for a perfect bride!

[Chris + Nicole Barnegat Lighthouse, NJ]

I’ve known this awesome couple for a long time now so when they asked me to do their engagement session I was SO excited! I have been photographing the bride to be for a few years now to help promote her music career (Go check her out on Facebook and Instagram @Nicolecurtismusic) and I always have so much fun during our sessions. This engagement session was no different. So much fun!

We met up at the park at the Barnegat Lighthouse! I’ve done photos here before and it’s such a great place with so many places to take photos. We started to explore the trails around the lighthouse and got great beach views! Next we parked ourselves right in front of the lighthouse and it was absolutely beautiful!

My favorite location however was when we walked out onto the jetty! We had the water and the lighthouse in the background and it was perfect! I was so excited to get to photograph this awesome couple’s engagement session and it was such a fun night!
